Rower Drop:
- 6:15am @ Regatta Site
- Parents are responsible for providing transportation to/from the regatta site.
- Rowers are not allowed to drive themselves.
- Athletes should be dropped off behind the AMF Bowling Center - Route 31 Fairport.
- Drop Location: AMF Bowling - Fairport
- Enter the parking lot and follow the attendants’ directions
Important Times:
- Coach's & Cox's Meeting: 7:00am
- First Event: 8:00am
- Last Race: 1:20pm
- Athlete Pick-up: TBD - after final race and trailer packing (athletes will let you know)
Parking:
- Event parking for families will be made available at/behind Qualitrol (just west of AMF)
Rower Dress Code:
- Varsity: Unisuits
- Novice: Gray Pittsford Crew t-shirts + tighter fitting (spandex) bottoms
- All athletes should prepare for a cool morning with tech shirts and sweatshirts
Hospitality:
- Athletes should eat before they arrive
- Athletes should bring water bottles
- The Pittsford Crew Hospitality Tent will be onsite, providing breakfast & lunch to all athletes
General Reminders:
- Rowers are reminded to NOT bring hammocks.
- Rowers must stay at the race site for the duration of the regatta
- All awards will be presented at the end of the day at the trailer, prior to departure, AFTER the trailer is fully packed.
- Rowers cannot depart until all boats are derigged, loaded and the trailer is fully packed.
Boundaries:
- Parents:
- Please avoid the area around our crew boat trailers.
- Think of the boat trailers as our athletes' locker room.
- Athletes:
- Athletes must remain at the regatta throughout the entire day.
- Athletes must remain within the venue boundaries (see yellow area on image).
- If an athlete must leave the race venue during the day, they must discuss their situation with, and obtain permission from, their coach before the regatta and notify their coach just prior to leaving the venue.
