Sunday 2022 HOF Schedule With Bow Numbers

Head of the Fish is not included in the registration fee, similar to every year, there will be an additional entrance fee for Pittsford Crew to participate. You can pay your $90 Registration fee here: https://www.regattacentral.com/cart/?job_id=419&sid_740=1
This year the novice and varsity teams we will be attending the Head of the Fish Regatta.
Logistics:

Travel will not be provided for this regatta. Parents will have to provide transportation to and from the regatta. Rowers are not allowed to drive themselves to away Regattas - this is to ensure the safety of our rowers. If a rower attempts to drive themselves to an away regatta, they will risk being removed from the boat for that race which will then also impact the team.
If you will not be able to attend Head of the Fish, please inform your coach as soon as possible!
The Day of the Regatta
Arrival: All athletes need to be at the regatta site at 7:00AM
What to wear: Varsity athletes must wear their uni. Novice athletes must wear their gray novice shirt and compression pants/shorts. ***Please remember that it will be cold in the morning and dress appropriately…dress in layers!!

Course Maps:
Hospitality: We will be having hospitality at this regatta. Everyone coming to the racecourse should eat before they get there! We will have a hot breakfast and lunch. Athletes are encouraged not to eat right before they race, hence eating well before your race is encouraged! Parents…please feel free to eat at the hospitality tent, we do ask that you put in a donation though. Thanks!
Athletes should: Bring a long sleeve shirt/tech shirt/jacket for the morning. It will be chilly. AND....BRING WATER!!!!!
Athletes must...Remain at the regatta throughout the entire day and remain within the venue boundaries.
*If an athlete must leave the race venue during the day, they must...discuss their situation with, and obtain permission from, their coach before the regatta and notify their coach just prior to leaving the venue.

DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP YOUR ATHLETE: You can only drop off your athlete in the drop-off/ pick-up zone, which will be clearly marked with signs and a tent. There is no stopping or slowing out of the drop off zone. Pick-up occurs in the same zone. If you arrive to pick-up an athlete and the athlete is not yet at the pick-up zone you will need to do a lap of the loop.
You can also consider dropping off before crossing bridge (from Northway exit 14) and athletes can take 10 minute walk over the bridge. Or if you drop off at Stewart’s, please consider making purchases to support the local businesses. Note: cars left unattended at Stewarts will be towed.

- A shuttle service will be set up from Nelson Ave Entrance to the NYS Boat Launch. The shuttle service will be $5/person. Upon payment, riders will receive a hand-stamp that allows unlimited rides for that day. There will be a different pass for each day. Cash ONLY. Please be prepared, as there will be no other method to gain a seat in the bus.
- There is NO regatta parking in the Stewarts Shop’s lot.

- Instead of turning into the boathouse driveway, continue over the cement bridge and take your next left.
- ALTERNATE DIRECTIONSTake Exit 12 - and follow Route 67 East to Route 9 North. Route 9 North is at the 3rd rotary. Take a left onto Route 9 North to the intersection with Route 9P (Ripe Tomato Restaurant will be on your right - 2+ miles). Take a right onto Route 9P and follow it around the lake until you get to the Route 9P bridge and Lee's Park and the parking lot will be on your right.

Parking
Off Site Parking is available at the Saratoga Casino. Parking at the Casino is free. There will be shuttles running every 15 minutes back and forth from 6 AM to 6 PM both Saturday and Sunday.
