Paying Registration Using Google Wallet
Google Wallet is a digital wallet that enables you to pay online transactions directly from your bank account or using credit cards. You need to get a Gmail account. There is no cost for transfers from your bank account to most vendors, including Pittsford Crew.
Over the course of a year, the 3% credit card transaction fee amounts to a significant expense for Pittsford Crew. We have to budget for this (and our tuition is higher as a result). Not using paper checks also reduces paperwork and the chances of lost checks.
Google Wallet is free for both parties if you set it up to pay from your bank account. It will cost you a credit card fee of around 3% if you use the credit card option.
Unfortunately, Regatta Central does not provide a link to Google Wallet like they do with PayPal. Therefore, you have to skip the payment (as if you were paying by check) and go the Google Wallet web site independently. You may include any notes to the treasurer in the payment.
Send payments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any notes you add will be read by the treasurer.
